Celebration of Spring, April 26 to May 25

Celebration of Spring is a diverse visual art show exhibiting the work of artists who have participated in a juried event.

The Burnaby Arts Council presents The People’s Choice Award and the winner is guaranteed a solo exhibit in the following year. The 2008

The 2008 Celebration of Spring Event will be held from April 26th to May 25th and will include Arts & Culture Week. An opening reception will be held at the Deer Lake Gallery from 2 to 4pm on April 26th. Live Entertainment provided & refreshments served.

Over fifty paintings, sketches pastels, photographs, mixed media, and sculptures by Metro Vancouver artists will be shown. Visitors may participate in the People's Choice Award, the winner of which is guaranteed a solo exhibition in the gallery during the 2009 season.
