Lucille Loose
Fruit of the Vine by Lucille LooseHaving creative talent, some of my hobbies were ceramics, 3-D paper tole pictures, tole painting, petite point, knitting, sewing and crochet. I have enjoyed and appreciated art through my growing years. I had an interest in art when in school but only started to get serious about painting in 2002. I enjoy taking photographs of a variety of subjects then creating a watercolor that will inspire my talent. The process of producing art is an excitement in my life – seeing how each watercolor will emerge on paper.

Since 2002, under the direction of Gerry Thompson I have created watercolors of still life, birds, flowers, sunsets, buildings and many other subjects that interest me. Color, shape and emotion combined on the canvas provide me with enjoyment, thus providing someone else with a different and interesting view. I traveled to Soreze France in May 2004 with a painting group which gave me a wonderful opportunity to photograph and paint on location; opening up ideas and different thought patterns in my painting.
