Salli Walker

Salli Walker grew up in a small mill town on Vancouver Island, writing poetry, stories, and plays.

Many years later, Salli picked up a camera and began to explore the art of photography. "I have a strong faith in God", Salli states, "and I am constantly awed by all the natural beauty which surrounds us, that, often in our hurry-up world, we are too busy to notice… I feel extremely blessed to be able to share my interpretations of the world around us with others."

Salli Walker also creates photographic gift cards with her own inscriptions, which are carried by a few retail outlets in New Westminster. Salli is a founding member of Artists on the River in New Westminster, and has recently shown her work at the New Westminster Arts Council Queen's Park Gallery.
